The small heart tattoo design is a very famous design. Small heart tattoos are especially famous with women who are searching for something different than flowers, stars, dragons, and other more traditional tattoo designs.

The tattoo design need not be limited to just the heart itself. For those looking for a more personalized design, the heart can be combined with many other types of tattoo designs to create a more unique style. For instance, a small heart may be merged with a flower, or perhaps with a dragon or star. This kind of combination can be designed to meet your own personal tastes.

The next step after making the decision to get a tattoo is to figure out what you’re going to get and where you’re going to put it. When you’re trying to decide this, there are several factors to consider.

Pain: One of the first things that people ask when trying to decide on a tattoo is whether or not it is going to hurt. The answer varies from person to person, but there are actually some parts of the body that are more susceptible to tattoo pain than others. The thigh, buttocks, back, and shoulder are regions that are likely to be less painful. The neck and ankle, on the other hand, can sometimes bring the wearer pain. For one thing, the ankle is very bony. The neck also has a lot of nerves in it.

A History of Japanese Tattoo

by Chris Hales

In Japan tattooing is called Irezumi which refers to inserting ink beneath the skin. There are some that believe the art of tattooing in Japan dates back to at least 10,000 BC however there has never been any conclusive proof to back up this opinion.

What we do know for a fact is that tattoo designs were seen and noted by Chinese travellers between 300 BC and 600 AD. This does not confirm the widespread popularity of tattoos as it was also during this time that tattoos were viewed in a very negative light, criminals were being marked with them as a form of punishment so that they would always be recognisable in any society that they lived.
