Tattoos are one of the oldest forms of art ever known to man and since then it became more and more accepted of men and women alike. Many of these creative designs are from the tattoos artist’s imaginative minds. Either you’re getting a tattoo to remember someone special that has passed or you’re thinking is just way KEWL, you are still joining the sharply rising percentage of the current population.

Several people acquire tattoos to extremes. By this we mean where the tattoos are located on the body. Around fifty years ago, tattoos are obtained to show love as well pride. In this day and age, tattoos are acquired for different ideas and reasons.

Tattoos are direct reflection of you as a person. There are no limits on the designs, the tattoo artists can draw. But the location of the tattoos and their designs are becoming more and more unusual.

Different trends of tattoo designs are growing more and more popular. A number of people are selecting to get a series of different tattoos representing a particular subject. A book written by Ray Bradbury entitled, “The Illustrated Man”, in which the main character had tattoos all over his body. Each of his tattoos had some kind of power. This is one example of tattoos and their legends.

Tribal designs are one of the trends in tattoos. These tribal designs are mostly prehistoric Chinese, Indian and other cultural designs that signify a group of people. Tribal designs are a hot trend in tattoos, and often some of the most stunning designs.

The trend in creating your own tattoo design is rapidly increasing. Several people are making their own designs for their tattoos and making drawings to their tattoo artist to specify and to carry out the design in a specific location. These tattoo designs are uniquely and one of a kind because it’s designed by an individual and not selected out of a book.

No matter what the design of a tattoo, one thing is certain; each one is personal. Trends such as children’s birth dates are being tattooed onto parents, tattoos “in memory” of someone, themed collages and even movie characters are all growing trends in the tattoo design world.

The trends of tattooing may come and go, but one thing is certain. Tattoos are permanent and before indulging yourself in this trendy form of art, one should think carefully about the design and location. Once you have a tattoo, it is not going to go away!
