« Flower Tattoos - Where Should You Put It?   Koi Tattoos - There’s Much More To It »

by Emmanuel Jones

Flower tattoos are the most popular choice of body art for women, but it can be difficult to decide where to place them on the body. Most people put most of their thought into the design or style of tattoo they want to get, but the size and placement choices are just as important if you want to remain happy with the decision for the rest of your life.

If you go with small white daisies around your ankle you will have a happy, youthful tattoo. On the other hand, a scarlet red rose on the shoulder blade can be more sexually suggestive. Your choice in color, breed, and placement will say a lot.

Your choice of flower and color is a matter of personality, but think about where you might put it and who you really want to see it most of the time. There will always be times to flaunt what you got and show off a little, but consider your daily life as well.

Some discreet placements are on the high hip, inner thigh, or on the bust line. If you aren’t so concerned with who might see it, then you could go with something more common such as the shoulder, calf, or lower back.

Whether you are concerned with discretion or not may also decide the size of the tattoo. Something large with bold colors will stand out more while something more subtle will give a cute, feminine impression.

These are all serious considerations when getting flower tattoos, but there is no one right answer for everyone. It is a matter of personality and preference that everyone has to decide for themselves. If you take the time to consider these things you are more likely to be happy with this decision in the long run.
